Our complimentary trial lesson consists of a full 30-minute lesson. This provides an opportunity to meet your teacher, discuss your goals, assess your current level and experience our teaching approach before committing to regular lessons.

No. Examinations are entirely optional. Many of our students choose to learn purely for personal enjoyment, musical development and the pleasure of playing the piano.

No. We specialise exclusively in in-person tuition at our studio. Based on our experience, face-to-face lessons provide significantly more effective musical development, communication and technical guidance than online learning.

Regular practice is essential for consistent progress. We encourage students to practise as frequently as possible, ideally a little every day. Even short daily practice sessions are more effective than longer sessions completed less often.

Yes. Access to a piano or suitable instrument at home is essential in order to practise between lessons and make meaningful progress.

Of course. Whether you are a child or an adult, it is never too late to begin learning the piano. We regularly teach students who are starting with no previous musical experience.
